Jeep is introducing the Turbo 100 engine, a 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that puts out 101 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque. It'll be paired with just a 6-speed manual transmission. Jeep says the new Turbo 100 engine improves fuel efficiency through a high‑pressure (350 bar) direct-injection system, new piston heads, and a new valve-timing system that reduces internal friction.
