A one-inch suspension lift gives the Cherokee Trailhawk nine inches of ground clearance. By comparison, a Wrangler Sport has 9.7 inches.StellantisThe 2027 Cherokee Trailhawk also boasts a water fording depth of 24 inches. According to Jeep, its 28.8-degree approach angle, 31.8-degree departure angle, and 21.9-degree breakover angle are all best-in-class. Unique springs and dampers improve articulation, while 17-inch wheels are wrapped in 245/65R17 Nexen Roadian ATX all-terrain tires. Steel skid plates protect the front axle, wiring, and fuel tank, while the hybrid battery gets its own protection plate. Drivers can choose among five Selec-Terrain modes: Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud, and Rock.If you're trying to spot the new Trailhawk on the road and you miss the badge on the tailgate, look for the signature red tow hooks fitted front and rear. The unique fore and aft fasciae aren't just for looks either; they're designed to improve the Cherokee's approach and departure angles.
