The Ford Fathom will start at just $28,350, making it one of America’s most affordable EVs. That’s for the standard-range version and does not include a $1,595 delivery fee. Even with the fee, prices start at under $30,000. Not too bad given what Ford is promising. Ford said the Fathom will compete in the heart of the affordable EV market, but the price is the least interesting part. It will also be the first vehicle to have Apple Maps integrated directly into the navigation system, providing turn-by-turn directions, EV routing, and other helpful features. According to Ford, the Fathom will be equipped with a “large touchscreen display,” wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, BlueCruise, bidirectional charging capabilities, and a digital key.
