It remained under their care until 2026, meaning this Cobra has effectively spent more than three decades avoiding the fate that befell countless modified, raced, and generally abused Fox-body Mustangs.The car is now being offered by a dealer on Bring a Trailer, complete with its original window sticker, a clean Idaho title and a Carfax report showing no accidents or damage. The center caps have been removed for safekeeping and are included with the sale.Inside, there's a power-adjustable driver's seat, CD stereo, and the Preferred Equipment Package, which added air conditioning, power windows, power mirrors, and power locks. The five-digit odometer displays the all-important 66 miles.There is one curious blemish in the paperwork rather than on the car itself. Factory output was 235 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.A BorgWarner T5 five-speed manual sends that power to the rear wheels through a Traction-Lok rear axle. SVT also gave the Cobra revised springs and sway bars, custom-valved Tokico dampers, and four-wheel disc brakes.Those figures sound modest beside a modern Mustang GT, but the 1993 Cobra represented the first production model from Ford's newly formed Special Vehicle Team.
