Ford Pro Advantage is offering up to an 172-point inspection, factory warranties and direct access to the Ford Mobile Service network for any maintenance needs.Dive Insight:Ford Pro Advantage plans will be offered in two tiers — Ford Pro Gold Certified and Ford Pro Blue Certified. Both tiers are backed by Ford Pro and offer 24-hour commercial roadside assistance as well as a money-back guarantee. The Ford Pro Blue Certified tier covers Ford and non-Ford commercial vehicles with a warranty of up to 9 years or 150,000 miles. These models receive a 139-point inspection and a comprehensive 90-day warranty, per the release. The Gold plan covers Ford commercial vehicles from Transit vans up to F-750 Super-Duty trucks with a 5-year/80,000-mile vehicle warranty, a 172-point inspection and a 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.Atkenson said in the blog post that Ford consulted with its Commercial Vehicle Center dealers and rental fleet partners to establish a sourcing model that better meets customers' needs, prioritizing CPO commercial vehicles that are in higher demand. The selection will include 2-to-3-year-old vehicles with mileage between 30,000 and 70,000 miles that have been well maintained, according to Ford. These include class 1-7 commercial trucks and vans, including chassis cabs and cutaway models. The CPO vehicles sold through Ford Pro Advantage will also feature the same digital tools as new Ford vehicles, including access to the same Ford Pro connected ecosystem to help fleet operators keep track of each vehicle. Ford is also offering its commercial customers business financing and flexible leases on CPO vehicles, as well as mobile servicing at job sites. Ford Pro Advantage customers will also have access to a fleet of over 4,300 Mobile Service vans that will come to a location to perform routine maintenance and other light repairs. For more comprehensive service requirements, Ford's commercial customers can visit hundreds of Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Centers and around 100 Pro Elite Service Centers, the latter of which can accomodate bigger vehicles such as the F-750, which has a gross vehicle weight rating ranging from 25,999 to 37,000 pounds depending on whether it's equipped with a gas or diesel engine.Higher-margin trucks, SUVs boost Ford's revenue in Q1',
