In terms of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) sales, BYD topped the list with 411,072 passenger cars sold, followed by SAIC and Geely. Leapmotor’s sales surpassed 100,000 units for the first time. Leapmotor‘s sales volume in July was 101,267 units, a year-on-year increase of 102%. In terms of new energy vehicles alone, Leapmotor’s sales have already overtaken those of Changan, one of China’s major automotive giants. In July, Changan sold 96,500 NEVs. Leapmotor’s sales are also very close to those of Geely Galaxy, the best-selling new energy brand under the Geely umbrella. In July, Geely Galaxy sold 107,797 units. Leapmotor A10 (B03X internationally), which was launched at the end of March, saw 28,593 units delivered in July, accounting for nearly 30% of total deliveries. Leapmotor’s sales performance over the past 12 months BYD maintained its market leadership with total sales of 411,072 units in July. It has seen year-on-year growth for three consecutive months. Its overseas sales reached nearly 180,000 units, hitting a record high. Its Fang Cheng Bao brand sold 41,213 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 190.6%. The Denza brand sold 19,196 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 68.8%. Li Auto continues to see a year-on-year decline, with 30,468 vehicles sold in July, down 0.9% compared to the same period last year. Nio delivered 35,934 units (+71% YoY). The main Nio brand accounted for 20,008 units, Onvo contributed 10,155 units (+69.9% YoY), and the Firefly brand added 5,771 units (+143.9% YoY). Xiaomi delivered over 30,000 units in July. Meanwhile, Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) delivered 45,046 units. Among them, Luxeed, the collaboration between Chery and Huawei, sold 10,709 units, a year-on-year increase of 227.7%.
