It will potentially become the cheapest Chinese car with such autonomy. Changan Nevo is a new energy car brand under the Changan China Group aimed at young buyers. According to China EV DataTracker, it handed over 35,585 cars to its users in July 2026, up 33.9% Year-Over-Year. Soon, the long-range Nevo A06 sedan will amplify the brand’s lineup. The Changan Nevo A06 was launched in China in November 2025. The currently available BEV variant is available with two powertrain options: 120 kW (161 hp) RWD + 51.48 kWh LFP battery for 510 km of CLTC range 210 kW (286 hp) RWD + 63.18 kWh LFP battery for 630 km of CLTC range The long-range Changan Nevo A06 According to the purchase tax reduction list released by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the new long-range version of the Changan Nevo A06 will adopt an 80.02 kWh LFP battery with cells supplied by the CATL-Changan joint venture. Credit: Changan Nevo On a full battery charge, the long-range variant of the Changan Nevo A06 offers 770 – 800 km under CLTC conditions, depending on the equipment. This model adopts a single TZ190XY008 permanent magnet electric motor for 245 kW (329 hp) that powers the rear axle. Its top speed is 188 km/h. Another highlight is a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor. The Changan Nevo A06 is a mid-size sedan with dimensions of 4885/1916/1496 mm and a wheelbase of 2,922 mm. The long-range model boasts a curb weight of 1,908 kg. It rides on two wheel options: 225/55 R18 and 245/45 R19. As mentioned, the new A06 has the potential to become the cheapest sedan with 800 km of electric range.
