Volkswagen Passenger Cars China CEO Rovert Cisek announces a MoU via Weibo Under the agreement, both parties will introduce a “shop-in-shop” model within selected FAW-Volkswagen dealerships to display and sell Volkswagen Anhui’s latest new energy vehicles. The ID. UNYX 08 will be the first model launched under this collaboration. Upcoming models, including the ID. UNYX 07 and 09, are also planned to be sold through these outlets. The ID. By comparison, FAW-Volkswagen’s dealer network spans approximately 800 to 1,000 outlets, offering significantly broader market coverage. ID. UNYX dealer store Through the “shop-in-shop” model, Volkswagen Anhui can rapidly expand its footprint without large-scale investment in new standalone stores. As next-generation models such as the ID. AURA are introduced, FAW-Volkswagen’s “Intelligent Electrification 2.0” phase will require a broader product portfolio, while its dealer network seeks new growth drivers. The cooperation will adopt an agency-based sales model, and participation by dealers is voluntary. Each participating outlet will establish dedicated teams to operate ID. UNYX models, with rollout expected to begin following the official launch of the ID. UNYX 08 in April.
