It will enter the domestic market shortly to amplify VW’s market share in the NEV segment. The M6 undercuts the Xpeng Mona M03 by 5,810 USD. Jetta is a joint brand under the FAW-Volkswagen umbrella, founded in 2019. It previously focused on producing mainstream ICE models for the domestic market only. However, Jetta’s strategy received two notable changes this year. This brand reached overseas markets (mostly in Central Asia) and began the transition to the NEV sector. The M6 sedan is the first mass-produced electric car under the Jetta brand. The Jetta M6 The Jetta M6 is a mid-size sedan with sleek styling and dimensions of 4806/1868/1895 mm. Its wheelbase reaches 2,820 mm. For clarity, the M6 is 68 mm longer than the Volkswagen Jetta. Six color options are available for this model: blue, purple, silver, white, black, and golden. The Jetta M6’s interior aligns with other mainstream Chinese sedans. It comes with a 15.6-inch center screen, an 8.88-inch instrument cluster, and a few physical controls as standard. Jetta M6 465 Pro – 80,800 yuan (12,035 USD) Jetta M6 555 Max – 90,800 yuan (13,525 USD) Jetta M6 555 Ultra – 99,800 yuan (14,865 USD) The entry-level Jetta M6 adopts a 42.9 kWh battery for 465 km of CLTC range. It sends power to a 113 kW (152 hp) electric motor. The M6 465 Pro speeds up to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. It rides on 17-inch rims, boasting an energy consumption of 10.5 kWh per 100 km. This model’s equipment includes Intelligent Cruise Control, Automatic Parking Assist, and a surround-view camera system with a transparent chassis. Interior of the Jetta M6 The Jetta M6 555 Max offers a 51.9 kWh battery for 555 km of CLTC range. This pack sends energy to an electric motor for 145 kW (194 hp). It adopts 18-inch rims, offering an energy consumption of 10.7 kWh per 100 km. Other features of this version are a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated power front seats, and a wireless phone charger. The top-trim Jetta M6 555 Ultra adds the L2 assisted driving system with Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) on urban roads and highways.
