Aura T6 started sales in China on September 20 in Guangzhou, becoming one of the first vehicles to adopt the CEA architecture developed jointly by the German automaker and Xpeng. This SUV offers dimensions of 4811/1879/1648 mm with a wheelbase of 2,836 mm. It rides on 19- and 20-inch wheel options. The drag coefficient is 0.245 Cd. Interior of the Volkswagen ID. Aura T6 The ID. Aura T6 adopts a single electric motor in the rear axle with a peak power output of 170 kW (228 hp). There are two LFP battery options for 59.9 and 77.5 kWh, suitable for 540 – 660 km of CLTC range (446 – 541 km WLTP). The entry-level ID. Aura T6 speeds up to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds. According to Volkswagen officials, the T6 takes 22 minutes to charge. Despite being a relatively large 4.8-meter SUV, the ID. Aura T6 offers only five seats. Its trunk offers a volume of 576 liters. The car’s dashboard adopts a 15.6-inch floating touchscreen, which supports Apple CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink. Other highlights include a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 25.8-inch augmented reality head-up display. The infotainment system is powered by a 4nm chip with a peak computing power of 20 TOPS. Another benefit of the Volkswagen ID. Aura T6 is a LiDAR-based assisted driving system. It utilizes the Horizon Robotics Journey 6H chip, providing a computing power of 420 TOPS. The car is capable of Highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and Urban Pilot assistance.
