Ferrari HC25 is a one-off supercar with F8 Spider underpinnings. The bespoke bodywork adopts Ferrari’s latest styling language. It is equipped with a non-electrified twin-turbo V8 producing 710 hp. Ferrari has revealed the latest commission from its Special Projects programme, a one-off built for a single customer. The HC25 sits on the bones of the now-discontinued F8 Spider, but the body draped over those bones is a different conversation entirely. It hints, fairly openly, at where Maranello’s design language is heading. The goal of the project was to combine Maranello’s last non-electrified V8 from the F8 with a forward-looking design echoing the latest 12Cilindri and F80 flagships. According to Ferrari, the HC25 “reinterprets the forms and aesthetic codes” of its mid-rear-engined spiders. The proportions are better for it. A black ribbon wraps the custom bodywork horizontally, beginning at the engine cover and slicing the car in two while throwing emphasis onto the sculpted rear fenders. An aluminum blade rises out of the side intake and doubles as the door handle. Photos Ferrari The aggressive LED headlights send SF90 vibes, but they are completely bespoke. They are connected by Peugeot-style LED fangs that extend across the bumper in a boomerang shape. At the back, ultra-slim quad LED taillights are integrated into the air vents, paired with a large diffuser and dual tailpipes. The wheels are bespoke 20-inch five-spokes in diamond-cut finish. As for the interior, there are no surprises. The cabin carries over from the F8 with custom upholstery and yellow graphic detailing, which is to say Ferrari did not reinvent the dashboard for one customer. No Hybrid, No Apology Mechanically, the HC25 is an F8 Spider. The twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 makes 710 hp (530 kW / 720 PS) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque, drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch, and is entirely unassisted by batteries. Ferrari quotes 2.9 seconds to 100 km/h (62 mph), 8.2 seconds to 200 km/h (124 mph), and a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). More: This Ferrari’s Value Has Nearly Quadrupled In Just Three Years The reveal took place at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, capping two years of work between the unnamed client and Centro Stile Ferrari. The price tag was not disclosed, but the going rate for monopolizing Maranello’s design office tends to start with a comma in the wrong place. The HC25 is the third one-off built on the F8 platform, following the SP49 Unica from 2022 and the SP-8 roadster from 2023. Photos Ferrari
