The Controversial Ferrari Luce Has Already Had an Aftermarket MakeoverGuessing HeadlightsHenry KelsallFri, September 11, 2026 at 12:15 PM UTCAdd us on GoogleImage Credit: Vossen WheelsAfter all the backlash and drama around the car's launch, you might think that the Ferrari Luce EV was the most hated car in the world. Yet Maranello has already reached its sales target for the first few months of the car's production run.Not only that, but it appears that some like it enough to consider modifying Ferrari's first-ever EV. Vossen Wheels, one of the best aftermarket parts producers in America, has decided that the Luce is a car that deserves their treatment. So that is exactly what they have done.Vossen Wheels has come out with its own design for not just the wheels but also a new rear wing and some other aerodynamic upgrades that amount to a full body kit for the Luce. Depending on your viewpoint, this more aggressive Luce is either much better than before or even worse than before.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe kit is only shown off in rendering form at the moment. Vossen haven't been lucky enough to get their hands on a Luce that quickly. However, it is a statement of intent from the company as to how it thinks it can improve the controversial Ferrari. The New Wheels Are the Showpiece of the Luce KitIt is amazing how much wheel designs can impact a car's overall appearance. That certainly seems to be the case with the Vossen kit. The company has given the EV new G2-13T wheels, which are ultra-lightweight forged wheels. These are very similar in design to the aerodynamic wheels available from the Ferrari configurator, with perhaps a little more depth to them.At the back of the Ferrari, the company has made further changes. It has given the Luce a not-so-subtle rear wing, which is a drastic alteration compared to how the EV looked at its launch event. This new wing definitely adds a more aggressive edge to the car. While Vossen hasn't confirmed it, the new wing should also increase the downforce levels at the back of the Ferrari.Something else stands out with the new kit as well. From the renderings shown, the Luce has clearly been lowered to the ground. There is very little clearance between the wheel arches and the tires, and it looks like you wouldn't even be able to slot your finger into the gap. It is an incredible transformation for the EV, and yet somehow, it seems to work quite well. It is impressive how quickly Vossen has come up with these changes to the car.Is This Ferrari Luce Kit Currently Available?Image Credit: Vossen WheelsThe Miami-based company has not officially said whether and when the new kit will be available. However, the GT-13T wheels are already for sale from the company, and a set of those costs $9,3900 for whatever car you can fit them onto. The rear wing is currently just a concept, although we think it actually suits the Ferrari EV quite nicely. You probably wouldn't get away with lowering a Luce that much, however.AdvertisementAdvertisementWhile the reaction to the car wasn't exactly positive, Ferrari probably doesn't care too much. It got people talking about it and the company itself, and it has already met its sales target for the EV just a few months after it was launched. The car has already made its way to North America, with an example being shown off to Ferrari clients in Quebec, Canada. Like it or hate it, the Luce has already been a sales success for Maranello. If you want more stories like this, follow Guessing Headlights on Yahoo so you don't miss what's coming next.
