That track record matters to consignors of unusual cars, because a house that has handled genuine outliers before is one that knows how to find the buyer who understands why an outlier is worth pursuing in the first place.Prospective bidders should also read the fine print. The car is being sold under a temporary import bond in Canada, carrying a New Zealand certificate of registration, and any buyer will be responsible for duties, tariffs, taxes, and registration fees in their own jurisdiction.
