Is Ferrari's new Luce EV one of the most controversial new vehicle debuts of this century? It's definitely getting enough attention to be near the top of the list. But like it or hate it, it's still a Ferrari, and that comes with certain guarantees. One of those guarantees is that the aftermarket is going to go wild on the new model with some mind-boggling body kits. The first of those has already been revealed. Your First Sign Luce Is A Real Ferrari Venuum While Mansory was busy uploading images of a new golf cart with a starlight headliner, a Dubai-based tuner called Venuum was working on Ferrari's new golf cart. Okay, that's the last dig, we promise. Venuum sees the opportunity that the Luce has presented, and has jumped all over it."A new door has opened to give the Ferrari Luce a far more aggressive look," the company said in a Facebook post. "After our design team got to work, within just a few hours we created a much bolder and more radical vision for this Ferrari."The company described the base Luce platform as "a difficult one," but it knows the score. "That's exactly what makes the challenge exciting."VenuumVenuum has added digital body kit parts to nearly every piece of the Luce from nose to tail. It starts with the new lower front lip that juts out and really ramps up the aggression. The new front bumper has larger openings and more racing-inspired aero elements. From there, Venuum fitted new side skirts and new fender trim, and it wisely (but half-heartedly in the images) parked the windshield wipers in the down position, not the up position. Bulging rear overfenders match the fronts to hold wider wheels and transition into the rear.A new rear wing lifts the vehicle's profile at the back, while a gigantic new rear diffuser promises to pull the 1,035-horsepower EV to the ground. Yes, we know it's a render, but seeing the car in a more traditional flat black instead of the cartoonish colors revealed so far improves the look even before the new panels. Get Ready For A Wave Of Tuner-Luces Venuum We already know what you're thinking. Yes, this looks like a Dodge Charger. But it also looks a lot more like a Ferrari than the images we've seen so far. It looks lower and meaner, and it would be perfect with a Hellcat V8 under the hood. Ok, yes, it looks almost exactly like a Charger. This is just a first attempt, though, and was done within hours of the reveal. Companies like this, Mansory, Larte Design, Koenig, and Novitec will no doubt be scrambling to get their kits ready for the first cars to end up with customers.Venuum Ferrari Luce Body Kit (5)They'll have to go all-in on styling with the Luce. While EVs can be tuned for more power, it's going to take time for gas-focused performance companies to make the switch. You can't just throw a new exhaust on this one and call it a week, it'll take serious software skills.Venuum will be able to give the interior of your Luce an equally extensive rework. The company's Atelier gives you plenty of options for when even Ferrari's extensive selection isn't enough. It's like putting a really nice case on your new iPhone.
