The electrostatic speakers are supported by five existing bass loudspeakers. Each electrostatic speaker contains an ultra‑light, ultra‑responsive membrane just one millimeter thick positioned between two perforated metallic plates across which an audio signal is applied, responding up to 1,000 times faster than a traditional speaker, according to Land Rover. The electrostatic speaker technology requires up to 90% less power, while saving 90% mass compared to conventional coil speakers. Additionally, they are manufactured without rare earth elements and from 100% upcycled and recyclable materials.AdvertisementAdvertisementAs a further enhancement, the car’s interior with both seats and floor working with the audio system using the company’s Body and Soul Seat system first seen in the Range Rover Black SV model. This technology uses AI‑driven software to analyze media in real time, generating in‑seat pulsations for a deeply immersive listening experience. The Sensory Floor adds tactile feedback through four transducers beneath the floor mats in each passenger footwell.“Range Rover SV Ultra is one of the finest expressions of Range Rover luxury we have ever created,” said Range Rover’s global managing director, Martin Limpert. “Its distinct character is defined by new and exclusive exterior and interior finishes and by world‑first in‑car audio technologies that set a new benchmark for immersion and wellbeing,” he added.Other special interior touches include new duo‑tone, leather-free Orchid White and Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics, features seating with a laser‑crafted pattern and intricate mosaic perforation that pairs with the cabin’s rattan palm veneer trim.AdvertisementAdvertisementBody paint options include a Titan Silver exterior color with fine aluminum flake to look like liquid metal, complemented by Satin Platinum Atlas and Silver Chrome accents. The Range Rover SV Ultra is available with the company’s P550e plug‑in hybrid powertrain or P615 high-performance, twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine. A fully electric version expected later this year.Recommended ReadingJLR recalls more than 170,000 US mild hybrids over power loss',
