Lotus Cars Malaysia has announced updates to its Lotus Eletre and Emeya line-up with the arrival of the MY27 versions of the Eletre 600 and Emeya 600. The update introduces an upgrade in standard equipment on both baseline models. Essentially, the specification for both cars has been enhanced and introduces a range of luxury and performance features that were previously available only on higher variants, which the company says delivers greater value for Malaysian customers. Among the new additional standard features are an active rear spoiler, Nappa leather interior seats with dark tri-colour seatbelts and configurable ambient lighting to further enhance the luxe of the cabin. Both models also get a lift in their aesthetic through a larger wheel package, in this case 22-inch units for the Eletre 600 and 21-inch units for the Emeya, complemented by Pirelli P Zero tyres and six-piston brake calipers, offered in black or red. These add to the comprehensive kit list available for both cars. As standard, the Eletre 600 and Emeya 600 feature items such as active air suspension with continuous damping control (CDC), brake-applied torque vectoring and LED matrix headlamps as well as a KEF Premium 15-speaker sound system, a 29-inch head-up display and four-zone climate control system. No changes to the Eletre‘s mechanical configuration, and so the dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain of the Eletre 600 continues to offer 612 PS (603 hp, or 450 kW) and 710 Nm of torque. This gets the Eletre 600 from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, on to a top speed of 258 km/h. A lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of 112 kWh (107 kWh usable) offers the Eletre 600 up to 580 km of WLTP range. As for charging, an 800-volt electrical architecture means DC fast charging support of up to 350 kW, which at that rate gets the battery from a 10-80% state of charge in 20 minutes. There’s also AC charging of up to 22 kW. As for the Emeya, the brand’s all-electric hyper-GT largely follows the previous 2026 update for it that was introduced here last August, with the latest kit enhancements adding to that. Like the base Eletre, the Emeya 600 features the same 612 PS and 710 Nm in the way of output, with power sent to all four wheels. Its 0-100 km/h time is slightly faster at 4.15 seconds, while top speed is 250 km/h. Equipped with a 102 kWh battery pack, the Emeya 600 offers a WLTP-rated range of up to 610 km. Like all Emeya variants, the Emeya 600 features 800-volt architecture supporting up to 420 kW DC charging (10-80% in 15 minutes), and up to 22 kW AC charging. Both the Eletre 600 and Emeya 600 are available in a suite of core colours, including Zenith White, Kaimu Grey and Stellar Black, as well as special colours such as Galloway Green, Boreal Grey, Fireglow Orange and the ever-popular Solar Yellow. Finally, pricing, and the latest enhancements have not come with any penalty to the price in the case of the MY27 Lotus Eletre 600, with the base variant continuing to go for RM499,000, the same price as when it was introduced here in August last year. As for the MY27 Lotus Emeya, there’s a slight increase in the starting price for it, to RM489,000 from the RM459,000 it was when the 2026 versions were announced last August. It’s of course worth noting that the latter was repriced then, becoming RM96k cheaper than when it debuted here back in August 2024. Both the Eletre and Emeya are of course offered in other variant forms, and word is that the various SE and Sport versions with the upgrades are coming soon.
