It will become one of the first right-hand-drive (RHD) markets for the Beijing-headquartered automaker alongside Macau and Singapore. Information about the upcoming launch in Thailand was shared by the Li Auto overseas PR manager with CarNewsChina and other global media outlets online. It was confirmed that this high-end brand will reach the market by the end of 2026. The list of cars for the local market remained undisclosed. Credit: Li Auto The overseas variant of the Li Auto Mega minivan is a large vehicle with hefty dimensions of 5350/1965/1850 mm. Its wheelbase reaches 3,300 mm. For clarity, it is just 20 mm shorter than the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The Mega rides on 245/60 R18 wheels and boasts a drag coefficient of 0.215 Cd. It is a seven-seat car with a 2+2+3 layout. The first- and second-row seats of the Mega have a 16-point massage function. There are two 15.7-inch screens in the center console. The Li Auto Mega has two electric motors with a combined peak power of 400 kW (536 hp). It speeds up to 100 km/h and has an energy consumption of 15.9 kWh/100km. The global variant of the Li Mega adopts a 102.7 kWh ternary NMC battery for 710 km of CLTC range (582 km WLTP). The rated charging power of the Mega reaches 400 kW, while the peak charging power is over 520 kW. As a result, it can charge 10%-80% in 10 minutes. The Li Auto i6 crossover The Li Auto i6 is a large five-seat crossover with dimensions of 4950/1935/1655 mm and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It offers two rows of seats with a 2+3 layout. It offers a block made of two 15.7-inch screens. The steering wheel has an additional small touchscreen. A 16.8-inch head-up display replaces the conventional instrument panel. The RWD variant of the Li Auto i6 has a single e-motor in the rear axle for 250 kW (325 hp). The 4WD variant has an additional e-motor for 150 kW (201 hp) in the front. The system’s combined power output is 400 kW (536 hp). This variant of the Li i6 speeds up to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Thanks to an 87.3 kWh LFP battery, the i6 can run up to 660 – 720 km under CLTC conditions (541 – 590 km WLTP).
