Gasgoo Munich- on September 15, Li Auto provided an official explanation regarding ordering and delivery for the new Li Auto i9 Home. The product launch event is scheduled for 19:30 on September 16, with ordering channels opening immediately after the presentation concludes.Customers can access the ordering interface through the company’s official website, app, or WeChat mini-program. The process involves selecting vehicle configurations, filling in details, and paying a 5,000 yuan deposit.A 24-hour window follows the deposit payment, during which users retain flexibility to modify configurations or cancel the order. Buyers can also choose to manually lock their order at any time; once locked, the vehicle enters the production queue. If no action is taken within that window, the system automatically locks the order. After that point, configurations cannot be altered, the order cannot be revoked, and the deposit is non-refundable.Image Source: Li AutoOn the delivery front, the new Li Auto i9 Home will begin rolling out to customers this week. Li Auto stated it will prioritize production and delivery based on the chronological order of locked orders.Regarding battery specifications, the initial batch will feature CATL’s 5C ternary lithium batteries. Li Auto noted that the battery brand will be clearly marked on the ordering page for customer verification.Versions equipped with Li Auto’s self-developed 5C ternary lithium batteries will begin deliveries in late October. From that point forward, all units of the new Li Auto i9 Home will fully transition to the in-house battery solution.Additionally, addressing interest in the floating combination table, Li Auto confirmed the accessory can be added as a factory option. If undecided at purchase, customers can buy it separately through after-sales channels later at the same price, with availability expected in November. However, due to differences in floor rail dimensions compared to the new Li Auto MEGA, the table leg structure has been redesigned. Consequently, the floating combination tables are not compatible between the two models.
