Leapmotor has unveiled the world’s first production-ready central vehicle computing platform powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform Premium Edition and Snapdragon Ride Platform Premium Edition. The announcement, made at CES 2026, marks an advancement in automotive computing architecture that integrates multiple vehicle domains into a unified system. Leapmotor’s upcoming flagship model, the D19, will be the first production vehicle equipped with the dual Snapdragon 8797 automotive platform. The solution integrates cockpit, driver assistance, body control, and connectivity functions into a single system, helping automakers reduce development complexity and costs while enabling faster, smarter, and more personalized in-vehicle experiences through AI. The central domain controller consolidates critical vehicle functions, including smart cockpit, ADAS, body control (lighting, temperature, doors/windows), and vehicle gateway into a single high-performance system.
