Credit: Leapmotor The Leapmotor B03X electric crossover from the Stellantis-backed Chinese automaker has revealed its price for Australia, becoming available for pre-orders. Its on-road cost starts at 29,990 AUD (20,960 USD). It is a 4.3-meter crossover with up to 382 km of electric range. The Leapmotor B03X was launched in China under the Leapmotor A10 name in March 2026 with a price range between 65,800 and 86,800 yuan (9,815 – 12,950 USD). It rapidly turned into a high-volume seller. According to China EV DataTracker, the A10’s cumulative deliveries reached 122,587 units as of August 2026. The global variant of the Leapmotor B03X The Leapmotor B03X became available for reservations in Australia with two trim levels: Style and Design Long Range. Their drive-away prices are 29,990 and 33,990 AUD (20,960 – 23,760 USD), respectively. It’s a compact crossover with dimensions of 4270/1810/1635 mm and a wheelbase of 2,605 mm. This EV’s exterior features “smiling” taillights. The car’s interior has five seats and an optional 39-liter storage compartment under the rear seats. Its trunk offers a volume of 602 liters. The center console adopts a 14.6-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster. Another feature is six speakers. The Design trim level adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a surround-view system, and 12 speakers. The interior of the global variant of the Leapmotor B03X The entry-level Leapmotor B03X adopts a 39.8 kWh LFP battery pack, which powers a 130 kW (174 hp) electric motor. Its WLTP range is 292 km. The Long Range variant has a 53 kWh LFP pack paired with a 145 kW (194 hp) electric motor. This battery is suitable for 382 km of range under WLTP conditions. Both variants accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. The Leapmotor B03X became the cheapest electric SUV available in Australia. It is available with a six-year, 150,000 km warranty. The battery boasts an eight-year, 160,000 km warranty.
