Honda is delaying production of the next-generation CR-V until April 2027 so it can first build more existing CR-Vs, according to an Automotive News report. To make room for more CR-Vs in the future, Honda reportedly canceled its original plans to build the next-gen Civic at its Indiana plant beginning in March 2028. The hybrid-only CR-V will reportedly become the only vehicle built at Honda’s Indiana plant, and Civics will be imported from Canada and Japan.
