New-energy vehicle sales, meanwhile, hit 133,310 units, climbing 45.6% and staying above the 100,000-unit mark for a sixth straight month. For the first nine months overall, Chery exported 1.55 million vehicles, surging 65.6% to already surpass its full-year 2023 total. Cumulative new-energy sales reached 858,524 units — a 46.1% gain that keeps its wholesale volume firmly among the industry's top three.Chery Automobile Co. Ltd., the group's Hong Kong-listed arm (9973.HK), sold 276,949 vehicles in September, an 8.4% increase. Its January-September sales totaled 2.07 million units, up 10.5%. By the end of September, Chery Group’s global customer base had surpassed 20.73 million, including more than 7.39 million users overseas.Chery is also making inroads into Europe's highly regulated markets. Across 24 European countries, the automaker sold 234,000 vehicles in the first eight months of the year — a 193% surge that included more than 114,000 new-energy units. In August, Chery topped the UK new-car sales brand chart with 8,618 registrations. Three of its models — the JAECOO 7, JAECOO 5, and OMODA 5 — cracked the country's top-10 best-sellers list.Looking ahead, Chery Group will host its 2026 Global Innovation Conference in October, spotlighting its latest technological and business breakthroughs in smart, green, and integrated mobility.
