The relationship was upgraded to a comprehensive strategic alliance in 2017, followed by the launch of a joint venture, Anhui Qisheng Technology, last year to focus on intelligent audio. Speaking at the event, Chery Chairman Yin Tongyue urged both sides to accelerate the rollout of new products and solutions, turning technical reserves into tangible user experience improvements faster.The Chery team also got a hands-on look at iFlytek's latest Spark Cockpit 3.0. The system promises to handle complex tasks with a single voice command, powered by a human-like interaction architecture that integrates multi-modal perception, memory, and decision-making modules. In practice, the system showed marked improvements over its predecessor in understanding context and executing multiple tasks smoothly.On the audio front, iFlytek showcased its iFLYSOUND smart sound field technology. It features over 30 proprietary algorithms and supports scene-based switching—think concert halls, cinemas, and healing rooms—along with sound zoning and microphone-free karaoke. The Chery product team responded positively to the demo, and after deep discussions between technical leads, it is possible future models will adopt this solution directly.Notably, Chery has consistently ranked as China's top auto exporter in recent years, creating an urgent need for multilingual voice capabilities in overseas markets. iFlytek's multilingual assistant currently covers 32 languages and serves 60 countries and regions, aligning perfectly with Chery's global expansion.
