To date, BYD, China FAW, and NIO have revealed donation plans totaling 17 million yuan in cash and supplies. The funds are earmarked for emergency rescue, victim resettlement, and post-disaster reconstruction.The crisis began on August 26, when mudslides on the Nepalese side of the border severely impacted Gyirong Port, resulting in significant casualties and missing persons.
