For decades, automakers have offered a wide array of trims for their cars, so that even if you're working with a bit of a budget, you can still get the looks or toys you want for a reasonable price. Some great examples are Kia's GT-Line models, which offer the sporty looks of its more potent GT models, but without the pricetag (or the performance). If what you really care about are the looks, it's a great option. Even the rich still have to decide just how much they can really afford, and Bentley has its own high-style, mid-range Bentayga for the rich but budget-constrained buyer. The Mulliner Lost Some Exclusive Parts In the Bentley line-up, the ultimate in luxury is the Mulliner trim. These offer the most features, the fanciest trim, and the most customization. The Mulliner models also have some unique styling features, some that can be spotted at a glance. For example, the Bentayga Mulliner has a diamond cross-hatch grille with the dual bars forming the openings. It also has matching fender vents and wheels named after the trim.BentleyThose features aren't so exclusive anymore, thanks to a new Bentayga model called the Artenara Edition. It's named after a village near the mountain called Bentayga. To go with the name, the interior has a silhouette of the mountainside on the dashboard on the passenger side, as well as on the seatbacks. What makes it really appealing, though, are the Mulliner features it gets. It has the aforementioned grille, 22-inch wheels, and matching fender vents (though with the Artenara Edition name on it to give it away). The inside also gets three-tone upholstery and trim that would normally only be available on the Mulliner.Bentley Bentayga Artenara Edition dashboardIt Has Options The Mulliner Doesn't All of these features can be had on a wider array of engine and body configurations. The Mulliner is only offered with the twin-turbo V8 and extended-wheelbase body. The Artenara Edition, on the other hand, can be had with the normal-length body and even the hybrid twin-turbo V6, as well as the Mulliner's long body and V8. As for the basic options, Bentley has eight colors specific to the trim. It also can have the Mulliner wheels in three different color options, though if you want even more flash, the company has introduced new 23-inch wheels with the less-than-subtle name of Super Lux Wheel. Of course, if you're willing to spend more, you can choose from even more colors for both the interior and exterior. Bentley also has the customary option of black exterior trim, rather than all metal.BentleyWhat Bentley hasn't announced about the Artenara is the price. It almost certainly has a lower starting price than the Mulliner simply because it can be had as a short-wheelbase variant with the base V6 hybrid. Considering how much a Bentley can be customized, though, it's entirely possible that someone could configure an Artenara to be similarly priced to a Mulliner. It might even be preferable for the rich buyer looking to have Mulliner looks and luxury in a smaller, slightly greener package.
