From September 7 to October 7, the company secured over 70,000 firm orders for the new lineup. The Xiaomi Skynomad series, which includes the N90 Max, N90 Max Explorer Edition, N70 Pro, and N70 Max, officially launched and began deliveries in September. The Skynomad N70 offers dimensions of 4960/1998/1785 mm and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The N90 Max is a bigger model with dimensions of 5285/1998/1825 mm. Its wheelbase is 3,080 mm. According to data released earlier this month, Xiaomi Auto achieved a total delivery volume exceeding 40,000 units in September 2026. Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, confirmed that the Skynomad series accounted for over 10,000 of those deliveries in its first month. Editor’s comment Clearly, Xiaomi Skynomad’s order performance cannot compare with that of the YU7, Xiaomi’s hugely successful SUV. However, given that range-extender vehicles face a steadily shrinking market in China, even securing 70,000 firm orders is already an impressive achievement. Xiaomi’s sales target for this year is 550,000 vehicles. Over the next three months, it will need to sell at a much faster rate: in the previous nine months, September was the only month in which sales exceeded 40,000 for the first time. This means Xiaomi’s car business is under immense sales pressure over the remaining three months of 2026 if it is to meet the target set at the start of the year.
