The new model largely inherits the design of the standard YU7 but introduces new colours, aero packages, and upgraded performance components. The vehicle appeared in regulatory filings in February. As the YU7’s answer to Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, CarNewsChina expects the YU7 GT to be priced between 450,000-500,000 yuan (65,200-72,500 USD). Design and exterior The YU7 GT features an aggressive front fascia and debuts a new Cherry Red exterior colour. The front end showcases the brand’s signature “water-drop headlights” with a hollowed-out design. The vehicle comes equipped with a prominent front splitter, an enhanced rear diffuser, and massive brake callipers. Additional exterior highlights include an optional 24K carbon fibre badge and 295/40 R22 tyres. The side profile adopts a low-drag design similar to the Xiaomi SU7, featuring frameless exterior mirrors, electric flush door handles, 10 sets of through-air channels with 19 vents, and 21-inch wheels with wider wheel arches. The company tuned the vehicle at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, targeting German-style handling dynamics.
