Last month, Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun officially announced the pre-sale price for the Xiaomi Skynomad N70 Max. The large five-seater four-wheel-drive range-extended SUV’s pre-sale price is 259,900 yuan (38,200 USD). Positioned as an “intelligent variable large-space SUV,” the N70 Max measures 4960 × 1998 × 1765 mm with a wheelbase of 2950mm. The second row supports rearward positioning, providing a maximum passenger space of 1410mm and a maximum expandable storage capacity of 2425L. Under the hood, the N70 Max is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system delivering a peak power of 310 kW (416 hp), enabling a top speed of 190 km/h. With a 76 kWh NMC battery, the SUV offers a CLTC pure electric range of 505km, which is the longest in the world so far, and a combined CLTC range of 1461km, with a fuel consumption of 6.1L/100km when the battery is low. Xiaomi Skynomad N70 Max. The vehicle comes with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension, as well as air springs and continuous damping variable shock absorbers. The N70 Max features nine standard airbags, an embedded roll cage, and an integrated hot-formed door ring. Its “armour cage” body includes 14 points of 2200 MPa high-strength steel and a triple-redundancy design for the door handles. On the intelligence front, the SUV is equipped with a 4nm SoC and a 4nm autonomous driving chip providing 700 TOPS of computing power. Standard safety and navigation hardware include a forward-facing LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar, and the Xiaomi HAD system. Xiaomi Group released its Q2 2026 financial report yesterday. According to the report, Xiaomi delivered 80,856 vehicles in the first quarter of this year and 104,199 vehicles in the second quarter. Previously, Xiaomi set a target of delivering 550,000 vehicles in 2026. Before the Skynomad, Xiaomi delivered only pure electric SU7 and YU7 models. During the subsequent earnings call, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, stated that since the pre-sales for the two Xiaomi Skynomad models began, the number of refundable orders has exceeded previous expectations, and the market response has been enthusiastic.
