The flagship Skynomad N90 model will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show 2026 on August 21. On July 16, Xiaomi officials disclosed that every SUV in the Skynomad series will feature a 76 kWh ternary NMC pack. This line will include the N70 large five-seat crossover and the flagship six-seat N90 SUV. They will be able to run up to 505 km on a full battery charge under CLTC conditions. Previously, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) reported that the Skynomad N70 has a WLTC electric range of 370 – 380 km, depending on the drive type. Credit: MIIT According to previous information, the Xiaomi Skynomad N70 consumes 6.1 – 6.26 liters of fuel per 100 km with a drained battery. The larger N90’s fuel consumption reaches 6.28 liters per 100 km. There is no information about the fuel tank of these models. However, both N70 and N90 adopt a 1.5-liter M15DRE engine manufactured by Changan’s subsidiary Harbin Dongang. Its peak power is 112 kW (150 hp). This ICE acts as a generator, sending power to a battery. The Skynomad N70 five-seat SUV has dimensions of 4960/1998/1785 mm with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. Its entry-level variant offers a single e-motor in the rear axle, producing 210 kW (282 hp). It is paired with a 52 kWh Sunwoda-made LFP pack, suitable for 270 km of electric range under WLTC conditions. The AWD trim level of the N70 has a 100 kW (134 hp) electric motor in the front axle, bringing the total power output to 310 kW (416 hp) with a mentioned 76 kWh battery. The Xiaomi Skynomad N90 The Xiaomi Skynomad N90 is a full-size crossover with dimensions of 5285/1998/1825 mm. It comes standard with two e-motors for 310 kW (416 hp). Xiaomi officials shared that the Skynomad N90 will make the live debut at the 29th Chengdu International Motor Show on August 21. According to China EV DataTracker, Xiaomi Auto sales reached 185,055 units in H1 2026, up 17.2% Year-Over-Year. The young automaker set an ambitious 2026 sales goal of 550,000 units. It seems that Xiaomi expects that the Skynomad series will turn into the new sales driver of the brand, making this target fiasible.
