Gasgoo Munich- On June 1, industry outlet Gasgoo reported that Xiaomi Auto officially released its delivery data for May 2026: monthly deliveries continued to exceed 30,000 units, holding the "30,000-plus" mark for a second consecutive month. In April, Xiaomi Auto had just staged a recovery from a first-quarter trough with over 30,000 deliveries. The confirmation of May’s figures suggests that this newcomer — having entered the fray just over two years ago — has successfully established a stable delivery system capable of sustaining monthly output at the 30,000-unit level.Data reveals a trajectory of a strong start followed by steady momentum. January saw over 39,000 deliveries; February and March held above 20,000 despite the Lunar New Year holidays; April broke the 30,000 barrier; and May sustained that strength. By the end of May, cumulative deliveries for the first five months reached approximately 140,000 units, fulfilling 25.5% of the annual target of 550,000 vehicles.A deeper shift in product mix is taking place. Xiaomi has evolved from relying on a single flagship model to a dual-line strategy featuring the SU7 series (sedan) and YU7 series (SUV). According to Xiaomi's official Q1 briefing, the YU7 series has accumulated 232,000 deliveries over its 10 months on the market, accounting for nearly half of internal sales in the first quarter. The simultaneous start of deliveries for the YU7 GT in May is further lifting the average selling price (ASP) and raising the brand's premium ceiling.Moving from a "viral hit" to a "scaled automaker," Xiaomi Auto is crossing the critical survival threshold. And that seemingly routine figure of "over 30,000" in May? It may be the signal the market has been waiting for.
