Volvo will end production of the electric EX40 and replace it with a larger EX50 that will ride on the new SPA3 platform, according to Automotive News.The EX50 will be a larger and less expensive SUV compared to its EX40 predecessor, but will remain smaller than the EX60, which sits in the same compact electric SUV segment.The EX50 is expected to go on sale in late 2027 and start in the high $40,000 range.
