Just don't expect to see one on your local dealer lot, as the sub-compact superstar has been revived as a crossover exclusively for the South American market. General Motors in Brazil just announced the return of the Sonic name. The automaker calls this reborn Sonic an SUV coupe, which is code for crossover with a sloping roofline.
