With ONVO and NIO both completing native HarmonyOS adaptation, only Firefly remains on a compatibility-based solution. The HarmonyOS version of the ONVO Auto app has officially gone live on Huawei’s AppGallery, according to an announcement made yesterday by Shen Fei, Senior Vice President of NIO and President of ONVO Auto. Shen said that user requests submitted previously have been received and are being addressed progressively. ONVO Rolls Out HarmonyOS App on Huawei AppGallery Notably, the ONVO Auto app has been directly listed on Huawei AppGallery and can now be downloaded and installed without workarounds. Shortly after the announcement, user feedback began appearing in the AppGallery comment section. Many users said they had “waited more than a year” or that the app had “finally launched.” Other users noted they would test it for a period of time before judging whether it meaningfully improves their daily vehicle experience. According to the app’s information page, the ONVO HarmonyOS app was launched on January 20, 2026, followed by a minor version update on January 21. ONVO HarmonyOS App The current version covers core functions including the ONVO community, online vehicle purchasing, worry-free charging and battery swapping, ONVO surprises, and promotional benefits. The “worry-free charging” feature supports one-click searches for battery swap stations and charging piles. The “online vehicle purchasing” section provides vehicle configurations, optional packages, and financing plans, broadly covering key user scenarios from vehicle selection and purchase through daily use.
