Leapmotor is set to introduce a high-power variant of its Lafa 5 model. The new declaration images, today revealed in the latest Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalog, showcase a series of athletic upgrades and a boost in motor output. The most notable changes on the exterior are concentrated on the front fascia, where the Lafa 5 high-power version adopts a more aggressive front lip with a sporty spoiler design, creating a distinctive dual-layer air vent structure. Along the sides, the vehicle is equipped with sporty side skirts and will offer two tire specifications: 225/45 R19 and 235/45 R19. The rear of the car has also been redesigned, featuring a new spoiler and rear bumper. Under the hood, the new Lafa 5 variant will be powered by an electric motor with a maximum output of 180 kW (241 hp).
