The much anticipated R2 crossover, a midsize SUV, launches this year, followed by the R3 hatch in 2027. The R1T is larger than most midsize trucks but small than most fullsize trucks. It has four doors, a creative interior with almost no knobs or buttons and effects Rivian's outdoorsy lifestyle theme. My tester comes in an attractive color called Storm Blue with a Slate Sky and Walnut interior. It has 22-inch wheels, the Darkout Package, a glass roof, tonneau cover and the upgraded audio package.
