An improperly tightened fastener can cause an intermittent or complete loss of electrical connection, leading to a sudden loss of drive power while operating the vehicle.The recall population is just 14 2027 R2 vehicles built between May 18, 2026 and August 27, 2026, when Rivian stopped building vehicles with a potentially improperly torqued fastener.
