This 4.9-meter model will enter the Chinese market in 2026 with a 27-inch screen and an electric motor for 168 kW (225 hp). The Hyundai Ioniq V made its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show 2026 as the Korean automaker aims to win back China. According to the latest tax reduction list shared by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the entry-level Ioniq V adopts a 53.5 kWh LFP pack from CATL that powers a 140 kW (188 hp) electric motor. This fastback boasts an electric range of 520 – 540 km under CLTC conditions, depending on the equipment. It is worth noting that the battery weighs 395 kg. The entry-level Ioniq V’s curb weight lies between 1,707 and 1,737 kg. The Hyundai Ioniq V The long-range variant of the Hyundai Ioniq V has a 66.8 kWh LFP battery manufactured by CATL. It is paired with a 168 kW (225 hp). The car’s range reaches 620 – 650 km under CLTC conditions. The battery pack weighs 465 kg. And the long-range model has a curb weight of 1,782 – 1,808 kg. The Hyundai Ioniq V will also be available with an EREV powertrain in the future. The Hyundai Ioniq V boasts hefty dimensions of 4900/1890/1470 mm and a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It adopts a sleek styling with a bonnet forming a single line with the windshield. Other features include semi-hidden door handles and split headlamps. The car’s interior adopts a large 27-inch dual-screen setup. Other highlights include a Momenta-developed assisted driving system and an 800V high-voltage system.
