Xiaomi Vision GT will not go into mass production, but will be added to the PS5 exclusive game Gran Turismo 7. Xiaomi’s first concept supercar — the Vision Gran Turismo — has officially debuted at the 2026 Mobile World Congress. It is worth noting that the Vision Gran Turismo was developed at the invitation of the classic racing game series Gran Turismo, specifically for the GT simulation driving platform, as an all-electric concept supercar. Xiaomi Auto is the 36th automotive brand to join this project, following Bugatti, Ferrari, Porsche, and others, while the Vision Gran Turismo is the 51st concept car in the project’s history. Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo The Xiaomi Vision GT embraces an extreme form of functionalism in its design. Li Tianyuan, Chief Designer at Xiaomi Auto, emphasized: “Our philosophy is to achieve aerodynamic goals without relying on additional add-on components. Almost every design element must serve an aerodynamic function, not merely aesthetic purposes.” Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Visually, the Xiaomi Vision GT features an extremely low-slung, wide-body silhouette that resembles a floating water droplet from the side, with fluid, streamlined lines. The hood incorporates air vents, paired with large air intakes and a flattened front end, creating an aggressive face. The body sides feature butterfly doors, while the bottom of the floating cabin houses a massive aerodynamic tunnel. According to official figures, the vehicle achieves a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.29Cd while generating up to -1.2 tons of downforce, with an aerodynamic efficiency ratio (CL/Cd) reaching an impressive 4.1. Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo The rear end is another design highlight. The Xiaomi Vision GT features a distinctive ring-shaped taillight with the “XIAOMI” logo embedded at its center, complemented by a giant carbon fiber fixed rear wing and an aggressive large diffuser, delivering exceptional visual recognition. Notably, the Vision GT’s wheels employ magnetic levitation hub caps that remain stationary at high speeds through magnetic force, reducing drag while assisting brake system cooling. Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Regarding the cabin, Xiaomi has introduced an entirely new concept called “Sofa Racer.” The interior of the Xiaomi Vision GT adopts an integrated wrap-around design, abandoning the hardcore bucket seats typical of traditional supercars in favor of a comfort-oriented sofa-style layout. The steering wheel features a unique X-shaped design with a central display screen providing real-time driving information. The highly anticipated Xiaomi panoramic “Horizon Display” has been seamlessly integrated, capable of adaptively displaying information based on driving modes. Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Most importantly, the Xiaomi Vision GT deeply integrates Hyper AI and the Xiaomi MiMo large language model, enabling proactive perception of the driver’s state and mood, with seamless access to the “Human-Car-Home Ecosystem.” Addressing the most pressing question from the public about mass production, Xiaomi Auto officially responded: The Xiaomi Vision GT will not enter mass production in the future. Although it is a hypercar built specifically for gaming, this vehicle is also fully drivable in the real world. We look forward to seeing some of the technologies featured in this car, such as the magnetic levitation hub caps, being applied to upcoming Xiaomi production models.
