Chery Group becomes the first Chinese automaker to reach 6 million vehicles exported. Chery Group released its sales report for February 2026. According to the data, Chery Group’s sales volume for the month reached 160,765 units, with Chery Automobile’s total sales at 146,173 units, representing a year-on-year decrease of 14.8%. Among these, new energy vehicle sales accounted for 35,739 units, while export sales reached 116,725 units. Chery Automobile February 2026 Sales Report Looking at specific brands, the Chery brand, serving as the cornerstone of the group’s sales, sold 107,781 units in February, up 2.9% year-on-year, making it the only brand to achieve positive growth this year. The iCAR brand recorded sales of 5,824 units, a slight decline of 1.7% year-on-year, demonstrating relatively stable performance. It is worth noting that as Chery’s independent new energy brand, iCAR launched the iCAR V27 and T9L in January, with promising growth potential expected in the coming months. By contrast, the Luxeed brand (Zhijie) saw sales of merely 945 units in February, plummeting 90.6% year-on-year. Although this may have been affected by the slower delivery pace during the Spring Festival holiday, as a highly anticipated member of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), Luxeed still faces considerable challenges during its production ramp-up and market expansion phase. Additionally, the Exeed brand (Xingtu) recorded sales of 4,016 units, a sharp drop of 53.3% year-on-year, while the Jetour brand sold 27,607 units in February, down 34.7% year-on-year. Currently, Chery’s portfolio including CHERY, OMODA & JAECOO, EXEED, JETOUR, and iCAUR (the overseas name for iCAR) has been exported to over 130 countries and regions worldwide.
