For clarity, the S07 is 5 mm shorter than the BMW X3 (G45). The Deepal S07 Ultra PHEV The Deepal S07 Ultra PHEV adopts a 1.5-liter engine under the hood for 70 kW (94 hp). It acts as a generator, sending power to an 18.4 kWh LFP battery. It seems that the S07 PHEV is, in fact, an extended-range electric vehicle. It means its engine works only as a generator with no direct connection to the wheels. The Deepal S07 Ultra PHEV. Credit: Topspeed The power comes from an electric motor mounted on the rear axle.
