It will enter the domestic market as a smaller and cheaper alternative to the FCB Ti 7, which has previously become the brand’s bestseller in China. Fang Cheng Bao is a brand under BYD that was specifically developed for China. Its models are selling globally with Denza or BYD emblems. For example, the FAC Bao 5 was launched globally as the Denza B5. And the mentioned FCB Ti 7 will hit overseas markets as the BYD Ti 7. Soon, the FCB Ti 6 will enter the Chinese market. Later, it can potentially broaden BYD’s global lineup. The first photo of the FCB Ti 6 was shared by the Difen Zhijia BYD fan page on WeChat. The spotted vehicle is covered with heavy camouflage. However, we can notice that the new model adopts blocky headlights with L-shaped daytime running lights, traditional door handles, and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, which is a part of the DiPilot 300 (“God’s Eye C”) assisted driving system. The FCB Ti 6 adopts large side-view mirrors and a flat roofline with roof racks. It also has a sizeable front bumper, a high bonnet line, and wide wheel arches. According to the source, this model’s dimensions are 4805/1960/1880 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. For clarity, it is 194 mm longer, 35 mm narrower, and 15 mm higher than the BYD Ti 7. The interior of the FCB Ti 6 offers five seats, similar to the domestic version of the FCB Ti 7. However, the overseas variant of the latter model is available with a 2+3+2 layout. So, the Ti 6 may enter the global markets in the future as a five-seater only. Difen Zhijia also mentioned that the Ti 6’s trunk offers an impressive volume of 780 liters. This number was probably measured to the ceiling and includes a storage compartment under the floor. The Fang Cheng Bao Ti 7 There is no information about the BYD Ti 6’s powertrain. However, the bigger Ti 7 is available in China as a PHEV and a BEV. The plug-in hybrid variant has a 1.5-liter engine for 115 kW (154 hp) paired with one or two e-motors, depending on the drive type. Three battery variants are available for 26.6, 35.6, and 50 kWh. The electric range lies between 135 and 315 km under CLTC conditions (111 – 258 km WLTP). The BEV variant of the car offers two LFP batteries of 92 and 105.7 kWh. The entry-level model has a single e-motor for 300 kW (402 hp). As for the AWD model, its combined peak power output reaches 515 kW (691 hp). The car’s range is 675 – 755 CLTC (553 – 619 km WLTP). According to China EV DataTracker, the Fang Cheng Bao brand sold 41,213 units domestically in July 2026. The Ti 7 was its best-selling model, with sales of 20,320 units.
