On June 4, BYD Dynasty Network General Manager Lu Tian asked Weibo social media users to choose the name of the brand’s upcoming flagship sedan. He shared that the company came up with six name variants after several rounds of selection. As a result, six names made it to the final round: Great Han (Dahan) Han 9 Han Ultra Han Tianxia (All-Under-Heaven, represents the traditional Chinese vision of the world order) Xiaohan (Heaven Han) Han Chitu (Han Red Rabbit) The latter three name options for the flagship sedan are closely tied to Chinese culture, as BYD positions itself as a global bearer of Chinese culture.
