These are likely to include a full suspension rework, revised steering and a big increase in power. While details have yet to be confirmed, it's expected that the new electric M3 will use a quad-motor setup to provide BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive.The new model will be built at BMW's production facility in Munich. Peter Weber, director of BMW Group Plant Munich, said: "We are delighted that we will also be producing the first fully-electric BMW M3 here in Munich. BMW M has a special emotional significance for our associates here – so we are especially proud to be actively shaping the future of this icon."Though wrapped in camouflage using BMW M's colours, it's easy to see the design of the new electric M3. There are motorsport-inspired yellow headlights and heavily flared arches which will accommodate larger, wider wheels.
