Cops Find Porsche Panameras Stranded on a BeachReddit User conFettiiPorsche owners are often quite proud of their cars, and will often go out of their way for the perfect backdrop for a photograph. However, two Porsche Panamera drivers in Toronto recently went just a little too far out of their way. According to a report by the Toronto Sun, Toronto Police were called to Woodbine Beach on Tuesday morning to find two of Zuffenhausen's sedans parked—make that stuck—on the beach. The police were called at 5:54 in the morning, so it seems likely that the Panamera owners were hoping for the perfect sunrise-over-the-water picture. What they got instead was a bit of Internet shaming, thanks to a picture posted on Reddit and video on other social media showing the two cars stuck in the sand. To make matters worse, there is no vehicle access to that section of the beach. According to the Sun, the German sport sedans are believed to have driven on pedestrian walkways and a boardwalk in order to reach their destination. One of the cars did manage to get off the beach under its own power, but the other one reportedly had to be towed. Despite the need for a tow truck and the apparent driving on a pedestrian pathway, however, the police said that "no criminality" was involved, so no charges are reportedly going to be filed.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe Porsche Panamera is wonderful for devouring highway miles in comfort and speed, and the all-wheel drive found on most models makes the great in the rain and snow. But deep, soft sand is another thing entirely—a lesson that these two drivers have now, hopefully, learned. You Might Also LikeIf You Can Only Own One Car, Make It One of TheseThese Are the Most Popular Cars by State
