Vespa Officine 8If you bought a Vespa GTV 310, Primavera 150, or Primavera 50 in the 2026-only Officina 8 colorway, they were accidentally shipped with Euro-market mirrors.Remember the absolutely gorgeous special Officina 8 special edition livery that the Piaggio Group put on some of its Vespa scooters for 2026? To be more specific, it did this on the GTV 310, Primavera 150, and Primavera 50 models. Well, if you own one of those scooters and you're in the US, there's now a recall for all of them.Approximately 285 total scooters are involved in this recall, which represents 100% of the population according to Piaggio Group Americas' records. The issue relates to the mirrors on scooters in this colorway, which are apparently the European-market bar-end mirrors. To comply with US federal vehicle safety standards, rearview mirrors must have a convex mirror warning sticker that reads "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear." These stickers are not required in European markets, and thus are not present on the mirrors used in that market. This recall service is estimated to take approximately 10 minutes to complete.Piaggio Group Americas notified its dealer network about this recall on May 18, 2026. That's also the date that VINs became searchable in the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's vehicle database.
