The facelifted Zeekr X will be coming to Malaysia this year, with Zeekr Malaysia confirming to paultan.org that the updated electric hatchback is expected to arrive here in the second quarter of 2026 as one of three models planned for this year. “While the premium compact SUV segment may currently represent a smaller share in Malaysia, we at Zeekr see strong growth potential in this space. With the introduction of the Zeekr 7X, we are already observing increased interest and awareness toward the Zeekr X among Malaysian consumers,” the company told paultan.org. “We are pleased to share that the updated, facelifted version of the Zeekr X is indeed part of our plans, and is expected to arrive in Malaysia in Q2. This refreshed model will offer an even more compelling option for those seeking a compact, premium SUV that delivers exceptional driving quality for everyday use,” it added. Thailand has already welcomed the new X that gets features that were previously found on the China-market model, even prior to the facelift. These include powered front doors and buttons on the B- and C-pillars to open the doors, which see the removal of flush door handles. Inside, the steering wheel gets a touch buttons below the airbags boss, while the front seats gain a massaging function. It doesn’t look like Thailand’s X gets the sliding 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen like in Europe, or even the zero-gravity front passenger seat. Beyond these changes, the rest of the X’s exterior and interior remain familiar. As for powertrains, the X in its base Standard RWD form now serves up 340 PS (335 hp or 250 kW) and 373 Nm of torque, which is more than our pre-facelift X that packs 272 PS (268 hp or 200 kW) and 343 Nm. The battery is also new, with a 61-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) unit replacing the previous 66-kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC). As a result, the WLTP range is down to 405 km instead of 440 km. Meanwhile, the top-spec, dual-motor Flagship AWD now makes 496 PS (489 hp or 365 kW) and 573 Nm, up from 428 PS (422 hp or 315 kW) and 543 Nm. This continues with the 66-kWh NMC battery, but range is down to 415 km from 420 km previously. AC charging is up to 11 kW for the Standard RWD and 22 kW for the Flagship AWD, but the former is now capable of DC fast charging at up to 230 kW – the Flagship manages just 150 kW.
