The World's Greatest Ferrari Show Is Back for 2027Courtesy of Cavallino ClassicYes, I know, you're overwhelmed planning for Pebble right now. As you should be. Finding a broom closet to rent in Salinas that costs less than your car is a challenge for us all.But amidst the Pebble panic, organizers remind us that tickets for the Cavallino Classic six months from now just went on sale.Remember the Cavallino Classic? It's the world's greatest gathering of classic Ferraris, held every February in Florida, and it should be on your calendar. Sure, it ain't cheap. Tickets start at $470 for the concours alone, but that's still less than a ticket to the Pebble Beach Concours, and you bought one of those, didn't you?Courtesy of Cavallino ClassicWhat is the Cavallino Classic?AdvertisementAdvertisementSince its inception in 1992, the Cavallino Classic has stood as the largest global event dedicated exclusively to Ferrari automobiles. With events in Modena, Monaco, and the Mideast, it's become a truly global happening. But the one that started it all has been held for 34 years now each January at locations in South Florida, where those of certain pedigree spend their winters during "the season."After 34 years at the Breakers, the celebration moved to the Boca Raton in Palm Beach, Florida, last year, a luxury hotel that itself was celebrating 100 years in 2026.This year's festivities celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ferrari with "an exceptional display of carefully selected automotive works of art."The weekend starts Friday February 19 with the Tour d'Eleganza, a rally that winds through the scenic roads of South Florida. This experience stickers for an entirely reasonable $2,090, but includes a police escort (always good in South Florida) and a grand arrival at the Boca Raton.Courtesy of Cavallino ClassicSaturday, February 20, is the Concours, truly the greatest gathering of prancing ponies every year. Other concours have classes for Ferraris, but this show is nothing but. Last year saw over 300 Ferraris from Europe and America, with 100 of them entered for judging. Cavallino draws over 2,000 attendees from around the world, organizers estimate.AdvertisementAdvertisementSunday, February 21, is "Classic and Sports Sunday," what organizers call a "light" concours of elegance held at the Mar-a-Lago mansion. It includes other cars, too. The awards take place in a ballroom at Mar-a-Lago.After the general admission ticket to the concours for $470, prices skyrocket. The well-appointed Ferrarisiti can spend close to 20 grand on the weekend. The 2027 Enjoy the Cavallino Weekend Double complete package includes hotel accommodation in a double room at the Boca Raton from Thursday, February 18, to Sunday, February 21, for an entirely reasonable $20,500—or $19,475 if you sign up for the early bird special. However you see it, there is little question that Cavallino Classic is and remains the greatest gathering of Prancing Horses in the world. If you can't make it to Florida in February, we'll have photos here.
