Image Credit: BugattiBugatti is no stranger to one-off, custom supercars. Alongside the likes of the regular Veyron, Chiron, Mistral, and more, it's created some amazing bespoke creations. Think of cars such as the Chiron Noire, commissioned in honor of the missing La Voiture Noire Type 57 SC Atlantic. It has now revealed another mighty one-off, the W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel.Bugatti says that this supercar celebrates 'perpetual beauty,' and it uses the W16 Mistral Roadster as its basis. It is a true one-of-one creation, created in partnership with German ceramics company Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. If that name sounds familiar, then it's because this isn't the first time Bugatti has worked with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. Some 15 years ago, the two companies created a special Veyron Grand Sport that had porcelain used to give it a truly special finish. This Mistral is a continuation of that idea.AdvertisementAdvertisementThe new W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel again makes extensive use of porcelain, while also honoring the W16 engine that Bugatti is gradually phasing out. The Mistral is the last car to use the mighty powertrain. It is an utterly mind-blowing supercar, and it really does look unlike any other Mistral that the company has ever produced. How Bugatti Created the Mistral Blanc ÉternelImage Credit: BugattiThe new car comes from the Bugatti Sur Mesure personalization program, with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin helping to create something utterly brilliant. Porcelain makes up a large part of the finish of the car. On the outside, it's visible on the EB emblems, the gas cap, and the engine inlays on the outside. The gear shifter, speaker covers, and armrests inside the car have also received the porcelain treatment. What hits you immediately when you see the car is the exterior design. The supercar has a white body and black lines outlining it, creating a finish Bugatti describes as 'white gold.' The thin black lines accentuate the angles of the Mistral, marking a shift from the flowing blue curves of the earlier Veyron special edition. From some angles, it looks as if this Mistral has come straight from a comic book.Image Credit: BugattiBugatti also wanted to recreate the porcelain look on the inside. And thanks to its German ceramics partner, it has been able to do just that with the aforementioned porcelain editions. The striking black and white color scheme has also been replicated for the interior. As a one-off tribute to the Mistral and the 8.3-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, Bugatti has done it beautifully.Bugatti Is Saying Farewell to the W16 EngineImage Credit: BugattiWhile it is something of a sideshow here, the W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel is effectively a farewell to the famed W16 engine. Deliveries of the Mistral commenced in early 2025, and it is the last car to ever feature the quad-turbocharged monster under the hood. Once production has concluded, the legendary engine will be no more, as the new Tourbillon becomes the premier model for the brand.AdvertisementAdvertisementThis car marks a big shift for the company. The engine under the hood is still mighty, but this time it is an 8.4-liter naturally-aspirated V16 engine making 986hp. This is also the first hybrid Bugatti thanks to three electric motors that output 789hp. In total, the new Tourbillon produces 1,775hp and 1,696lb-ft of torque. The W16 still has some life in it, however, so maybe we can expect some more one-off creations before it is gone for good.If you want more stories like this, follow Guessing Headlights on Yahoo so you don't miss what's coming next.
