Gas is expensive, but if it must be, then it seems Ram figures you might as well spend the money on something fun. The new Ram 1500 Rumble Bee continues to fulfill what seems to be a mandate at Stellantis: Hemi It All. The Stellantis subbrand, Ram, debuted not one, but three new muscle trucks, each with their own unique version of the Hemi V8 under the hood.At the top of the pyramid is the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT. It's basically a TRX street truck, with the same 777-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Hemi V8 under the hood, making 680 pound-feet of torque. Ram says 60 mph can be accomplished in just 3.4 seconds, while the truck will run the quarter-mile in just 11.6 seconds. More than that, the brand says the range-topping truck has a "targeted" top speed of 170 miles per hour.RamThe Rumble Bee will serve as the entry-level street truck in the new lineup. It uses a similar version of the Hemi V8, this time a 5.7-liter naturally-aspirated unit, to produce 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the Rumble Bee 392 sits in the middle, with a 6.4-liter Hemi bringing 470 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque to the table. Both use an 8-speed automatic transmission. No matter what, each truck gets a transfer case that can disconnect the front axle, making each a rear-wheel drive vehicle, should the driver like. A limited-slip differential is optional, as is a Track Pack, which will add a line-lock function to the trucks.RamEach truck features a unique cab and bed layout. The brand's smaller Quad Cab and shorter bed option trims length by 13 inches compared to a standard Ram 1500, forcing engineers to shorten tons of mechanical components like the driveshaft to make the trucks work. Pricing hasn't been announced, but Ram says that the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee will go on sale in late 2026. Meanwhile, the Rumble Bee 392 and Rumble Bee SRT will arrive in the first half of 2027.
