1st Ram Rumble Bee SRT Comes with '05 Ram SRT-10StellantisRam hasn't delivered its new Rumble Bee pickup trucks to customers just yet, but it's already making plans to make the first one's arrival into something particularly wild. The first retail-production example will receive a 900-plus-horsepower upgrade and one-off paint job before heading to be sold to the highest bidder at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction on September 11. Better still, the winning bidder won't leave with just one super-truck, as the new pickup will cross the block as a pair with a customized 2005 Ram 1500 SRT-10.A standard 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT, as you might recall uses a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 producing 777 hp and 680 lb-ft of torque. Ram claims that's enough for 0–60 mph in 3.4 seconds, an 11.6-second quarter-mile, and a 170-mph top speed. Apparently, that wasn't quite excessive enough for the first one, so Ram is tapping its previously-announced Direct Connection upgrades for this inaugural copy; that means a larger 3.0-liter supercharger that lifts output beyond 900 hp, as well as a Magnaflow stainless-steel cat-back exhaust.StellantisThe one-off also receives hand-painted Molten Red Pearl upper bodywork over Diamond Black Crystal Pearl, along with a black hood stripe, satin-black 22-inch wheels, Flame Red badges and Brembo calipers. Its 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V-10 came directly from the Dodge Viper and produces 500 hp.
